The authors of this case report want to put the readers´ attention to the very rare risk of acute pancreatitis following SWL. It is mentioned in the text that the described complication appeared in association with the third treatment session. Nothing is, however, mentioned on the interval between successive treatments. It seems obvious that the number of shockwaves is only that for one session?
