This publication is a comment to a previous article on the clinical importance of the mild acute pancreatitis that often is seen after SWL of pancreatic stones in patients with chronic pancreatitis.
There is also a reply by the authors of the previous article and the bottom-line is that there obviously is need of further prospective studies to shed some further light on this issue.
