STORZ MEDICAL at MEDICA 2022: Successful return with NEUROLITH, MAGNETOLITH and new stand concept
Positive atmosphere, the joy of seeing each other again and a large number of visitors: From 14 – 17 November 2022, STORZ MEDICAL presented the wide range of its therapy solutions at MEDICA 2022 in Düsseldorf, Germany. After a two-year break due to corona, the entire team was delighted to finally be back at the world’s leading medical trade fair. Alongside proven shock wave systems such as DUOLITH® SD1 TOWER »ultra«, DUOLITH® SD1 T-TOP »ultra« and MASTERPULS® MP100 »ultra«, the NEUROLITH® and MAGNETOLITH® in particular attracted a lot of attention. Due to the corona pandemic, it was the first opportunity for many of the international visitors to experience the two therapy methods live and to get to know them. Another highlight was STORZ MEDICAL's new stand concept.
NEUROLITH® and MAGNETOLITH® impress and inspire visitors
Three years after its market launch, Transcranial Pulse Stimulation (TPS) with the NEUROLITH® is already being used worldwide in more than 125 practices and hospitals specializing in neurorehabilitation to treat patients with mild to moderate Alzheimer's dementia. More than 2,500 treatments (15,000 therapy sessions) have been performed so far. At the STORZ MEDICAL stand, numerous visitors informed themselves in detail about the unique treatment, the advantages of the NEUROLITH® system and the available studies on TPS.
Extracorporeal Magnetotransduction Therapy (EMTT) with the MAGNETOLITH® also attracted many visitors. Since the introduction of the MAGNETOLITH®, more and more orthopaedic specialists are expanding their range of therapies with this method, which was developed specifically for the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders. Many orthopaedic specialists also use EMTT in addition to shock wave therapy in order to achieve even better treatment effects for certain musculoskeletal conditions. At the stand, the wide range of applications of EMTT and the comfortable treatment were explained in detail to the visitors.
New stand concept celebrates its premiere
The new stand concept also contributed to the all-round success of STORZ MEDICAL's MEDICA appearance. It received extremely positive feedback and attracted many visitors. The new concept focuses on networking: comfortable seating areas, a separate meeting room and the professional catering ensure that meetings take place in a pleasant atmosphere. The modern stand also generates curiosity and invites visitors to find out more about the therapy systems on display.
