More space for growth and attractive workplaces: New administration building and warehouse completed
A new administration building and an additional warehouse have been constructed at STORZ MEDICAL's headquarters in Tägerwilen on the Swiss side of Lake Constance. The two high-quality buildings were constructed by METHABAU and offer state-of-the-art working conditions for our employees. The expansion creates the perfect conditions for us to continue our sustainable growth as a strong employer in the region and to further strengthen our position as an innovation leader in the field of shock wave therapy.
6,500 square metres of inspiring workspace and modern energy management
Innovations need a place where they can evolve optimally – from the initial idea to their practical realisation. For this reason, both our shock wave systems and our company buildings in Tägerwilen were designed from the outset to meet the latest standards. Our high-quality standards are also reflected in the architecture of the two new buildings.
The new administration building has around 1,800 square metres of office space on three floors. The façade is made entirely of glass and blends harmoniously into its surroundings with its aesthetic architecture. The light-flooded, spacious rooms exude a timeless elegance and offer many opportunities to exchange ideas and work together. The modern equipment and technical infrastructure ensure perfect working conditions. The new warehouse has a floor area of around 4,000 square metres and therefore offers sufficient space for future growth. Thanks to the additional capacity, all logistical processes can be organised more efficiently.
The two new buildings also emphasise STORZ MEDICAL's commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency: a powerful geothermal heat pump, which is largely powered by photovoltaic electricity generated in-house, provides heating and hot water.
