These programs are designed for the allied health professionals or facilities that may require additional training, whether to refresh operational skills of current operators or provide training due to a transition in personnel.

A STORZ MEDICAL America, Inc. Applications Specialist will instruct, at you facility up to two (2) operators in safe and efficacious use of our MODULITH Lithotripters and its accompanied imaging system. This program typically requires 4-6 week of advanced planning to ensure a minimum patient caseload is scheduled for the agreed upon dates. The number of actual training days is to be determined based upon the needs and experience level of the trainee(s). Personnel participating in this program MUST be dedicated for the time allotted for this training period.

PREREQUISITES:

The individual(s) attending or participating in the STORZ MEDICAL America, Inc. MODULITH® SLX-F2 Advanced Applications programs MUST have a solid understanding of the basic fundamental principles of lithotripsy. The STORZ MEDICAL America, Inc. Advanced Applications courses are designed with the idea that all students attending have a minimum 3 months of lithotripsy experience in addition to:

  • Knowledge and understanding of imaging systems
  • Knowledge of radiographic and fluoroscopic anatomy
  • Some mechanical ability
