The diagnosis of Alzheimer’s is a shock for all those affected. Despite intensive research, it has not yet been possible to find a cure for Alzheimer’s; however, progress has already been made in the fight against the disease. The quality of life and self-determination of those affected should be maintained for as long as possible. In addition to drug treatments, a range of accompanying therapies are used today to improve mental performance and the ability to cope with everyday life. Together with STORZ MEDICAL, scientists at the Medical University of Vienna have succeeded in developing a new treatment method in the form of transcranial pulse stimulation (TPS), which is non-invasive, safe and painless.
