This correspondence refers to a previously published report on using shear wave elastography to predict the outcome of SWL in children [1].
The authors are critical to how the method was used and ask for measurements according to standardized shock wave elastography protocols. In that way it would be possible to eliminate otherwise appearing artifacts.
