This ”LETTER” is a comment to a previously published report on effects of low energy shock waves on E. Coli cystitis in a rat model.
The authors emphasize that the results should be interpreted with care, because of genetic differences between bacterial strains. It also is mentioned that in such studies careful statistical analysis is mandatory.
I am not able to comment on these findings because of lack of further details and personal experience.
